17%u201cWhat kind of animals are crocodiles, Mrs. Diana?%u201d asked Jack.Mrs. Diana replied, %u201cGood question, Jack! Crocodiles are reptiles. Unlike dolphins, they are cold-blooded, which means their body temperature depends on the environment around them. And guess what? They%u2019re also some of the oldest reptiles on Earth.%u201d Jack was curious about them and asked, %u201cHow much do crocodiles weigh?%u201d Mrs. Diana said, %u201cCrocodiles can vary in size, just like dolphins. The smallest crocodile species might weigh around 40 kilograms (88 pounds), while the largest, like the Nile crocodile, can weigh over 900 kilograms (2,000 pounds)!
